FAQ,S
Frequently Asked Questions
Artillery fungus (Sphaerobolus stellatus), also called shotgun fungus or cannonball fungus, is a wood‑decay fungus that thrives in moist mulch. It shoots sticky black spores onto nearby surfaces like siding, cars, decks, and fences. These spores look like tiny tar spots and can travel up to 20 feet. While unsightly, artillery fungus is not harmful to people, pets, or plants — the issue is cosmetic.
Why pressure washing and window cleaning don’t work:
• Spores have a glue‑like coating that bonds tightly to vinyl siding, glass, and paint.
• Even high‑pressure water can’t break the bond and may damage the surface underneath.
• Standard window cleaning solutions won’t dissolve them — they are hardened spore packets, not dirt.
• Replace hardwood mulch with pine bark, cedar, stone, or rubber mulch.
• Keep mulch beds shallow (2 inches max) and avoid placing mulch directly against siding.
WINDOW FAQ,S
Yes, we certainly do! Our team is fully equipped and trained to handle 2- and 3-story windows safely and effectively. We always use professional-grade equipment and adhere to strict safety protocols. This ensures that every window, no matter how high, receives the same level of care and attention we bring to ground-level panes. You can trust that your multi-story home or building will look immaculate when we’re done.
We count each window pane as a window (each piece of glass).
Yes we do, they have special pricing based on the roof slope , what type , how many and other factors.
We take pride in using a hands-on, meticulous approach to window cleaning. For first and most second-story windows, we use traditional hand-washing methods with a professional squeegee and scrubber to ensure a streak-free finish. For some higher second-story and third-story windows, we may use an extension pole with the same tools. In certain cases, for especially hard-to-reach windows, we utilize a pure water system with a water-fed pole. This advanced method allows us to safely and effectively clean high windows while maintaining our commitment to quality. No matter the height, we always aim for a perfect result.
We recommend having your windows professionally cleaned at least twice a year to maintain their clarity and longevity. For homes or businesses in areas with more dust, pollen, or weather exposure, you might consider quarterly cleanings to keep them sparkling year-round.
